Joey King appears on stage to accept her award for Favorite Movie Actress at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 23) at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old actress won the award for her work in the movie The Kissing Booth and her co-star Joel Courtney was also in attendance at the event!

“Oh my god, I never thought I’d be in the same category as Rihanna and actually win something, so this is crazy to me,” Joey said during her speech. “Playing Elle Evans was so amazing to me because she is a girl who embraces her differences and originality and I love playing her because it encourages young girls to just be you and young boys to be you.”
