The romantic comedy will be back sooner than expected! Kissing Booth 3 was officially confirmed on 26th July 2020.

The movie is based on a novel of the same name. Beth Reekles is the writer. The Kissing Booth debuted on Netflix on 11th May 2018. The second movie aired on 24th July 2020. Vince Marcello is the writer and director of the franchise.

Release Date of Kissing Booth 3

The movie was officially announced on 26th July 2020. The movie is in its post-production phase and will release in 2021. As the filming for the movie is completed so it’s unlikely to get delayed by the ongoing pandemic.

According to Joel Courtney, the movie was filmed in secret at the same time as Kissing Booth 2.

The Plot of the Movie

The movie revolves around Elle who is a quirky teenager. Her relationship with a high school senior and bad boy of the class Noah puts her lifelong friendship with Noah’s younger brother Lee in jeopardy.

The sequel to the first movie ended in a cliffhanger. Elle is heading to college but she has a hard decision to make. She gets into Harvard where her boyfriend Noah is matriculating. She is also accepted into Berkeley where her best friend Lee is accepted and heading. Elle is confused as to which path to choose.

She is not sure if her relationship with Noah will survive if she goes to Berkeley. Also if she goes to Harvard, her relationship with Lee will go wayward.

Joey King who plays Elle in the movie said that her character had a lot of thinking to do. She figures out all these things in the third movie and in the end she has more figuring to do. So that is crazier. Elle is not able to make a decision with rising pressure from both the parties. It is just unfortunate that she lands in this pickle.

The Cast of the Movie

Most of the original cast will be returning for Kissing Booth 3. The cast will include Elle played by Joey King, Noah Flynn played by Jacob Eordi and Rachael played by Meganne Young. Molly Ringwald will also return as Noah and Lee’s mother. Taylor Perez will return as Marco. Marco still has feelings for Elle so he is likely to cause trouble in this part. Perez wants the third movie to give justice to his character in terms of his courtship with Elle.

According to Joey King, Kissing Booth 2 was better than the first movie. If the trend goes on Kissing Booth 3 will be out of this world. We are super excited about the third movie! Are you equally excited too?
