The Heart of Soul On Fire is a new behind-the-scenes featurette that takes audiences deeper into the true story behind Joel Courtney’s upcoming film.
From director Sean McNamara (Reagan, Soul Surfer), the film is inspired by John O’Leary’s 2016 bestselling book On Fire. At just nine years old, John survived a devastating accident and, against all odds — with the support of his family, faith, community, and the kindness of Baseball Hall of Fame announcer Jack Buck — began a long road to recovery. Grateful for his miracle and shaped by hardship, John’s mission to better the world has inspired millions.

The movie was written by Gregory Poirier. J. Todd Harris, Margaret French Isaac, David Brookwell and McNamara serve as producers on the project. Executive producers include Linda B. Huntington, O’Leary, Terry Schnuck, Michael W. Riney, Quirsis V. Riney and Poirier.
